The Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design is committed to train traditional artist-craftsmen, as well as architects, designers and visual communication designers. Besides training artists, the University contributes to the rise of visual culture with the training of drawing teachers; and the art manager training course provides a link between the various branches of economy and the arts. The University assumes responsibility for elite training, not only in its graduate courses, but also in its thematic DLA and PhD courses, as well as in various other postgraduate courses. Regarding its library, art gallery and publications, the MOME is the spiritual workshop of applied arts. Instead of the traditional division between applied and fine arts and the separation of various art forms, the University enhances the openness and interconnection of the taught subjects.

The schools of Szent István University, operating in Budapest, Gödöllõ and Jászberény, a model farm and research institute of almost 1000-hectares, a thousand teachers and two thousands other staff members, provide training for more than twenty-four thousand students. They can obtain university or college-level diplomas in 40 different undergraduate and graduate majors and a PhD degree in ten scientific fields. Eight hundred students come to the University from different countries of the world: they can study in Hungarian, English, German, French and Russian.

Campus Hungary is a semi-formal alliance founded in February 2004 by various Hungarian higher education actors in order to promote Hungarian higher education abroad. Among its members are the various Hungarian higher education institutions that offer study programmes in foreign languages, the Confederation of Hungarian Conference on Higher Education and the Ministry of Education.
