The Hungarian Community Centre is a not for profit organisation which works for the furtherance and assistance of the Hungarian community. It is the largest Hungarian institution outside the Carpathian basin. It provides facilities to the thousands of Hungarians who live within reach of it. It enables organisations and individuals to maintain their national inheritance, heritage and culture and endeavours to pass on the culture on to future generations. The Hungarian Community Centre and endeavours to maintain Hungarian culture and the Centre is beautifully located on 5.5 acres of parklands in the City of Knox. The Centre has an ecumenical church, restaurant, two large and one smaller hall which can accommodate 600, 400 and 100 people respectively.
