Aether architecture is adventurous young design practice focusing on the convergence of new media and architecture. Aether architecture is about collaboration, founded by Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Hudini, Anita Pozna, working with many collaborators. On the site you can find: news, people, contacts, newsletter. artistic research: exploring the thresholds between architecture, people and media. interactive design: interaction experience engineering for online places and actual spaces. workshops & courses: low tech thinking in physical interactivity, architecture & media.

Kitchen Budapest

The spicy innovation lab: Kitchen Budapest, opened in June 2007, is a new media lab for young researchers who are interested in the convergence of mobile communication, online communities and urban space and are passionate about creating experimental projects in cross-disciplinary teams. KIBU offers a research lab space downtown Budapest, a basic grant for a dozen researchers, some equipment, and a dynamic workflow where sharing and helping is essential, and the freedom to capitalize any good idea. Being sponsored by Magyar Telekom(MT), the leading Hungarian Telco, there is a direct path where ideas and prototypes get reach larger audiences, in case MT and the project group finds ways to do so. KIBU's aim is build a platform where ideas are materializing and some end up in cultural context, some in the market. Art and technology: Kitchen Budapest regularly organizes exhibitions to present the prototypes, as well as works or projects from related institutions and professionals.

Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre

The mission of Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre (KÉK) is to create a first class independent cultural centre, open to all, which promotes architectural education, awareness and innovation among multidisciplinary professionals and the general public. KÉK's objectives: initiate dialogue about architecture, the city and its culture and about our built environment - both within the profession and beyond it; link Hungarian contemporary architecture to the international cultural scene; provide a venue for initiatievs with similar aims; support initiatives in the field of contemporary architecture; promote architectural education at all levels.
