Scholarships for International Students and Researchers: HSB supports the present and future international academic elite by awarding scholarships and grants predominantly funded by the Hungarian Ministry of Education. Target groups include undergraduate and postgraduate students, with a special emphasis on doctoral candidates, academics and scientists, tutors and researchers. Scholarships for Hungarians: HSB also supports the academic and personal development of outstanding Hungarian undergraduate and graduate students, academics and scientists. Promoting the Hungarian language: HSB offers a wide range of opportunities to learn the Hungarian language at summer university courses in and outside Budapest. Each year 250 students are given this opportunity under the protection of a scholarship system.
