Austrian-Hungarian Europe School in Budapest

Communicative learning, the so-called "open learning" and the pedagogy of Montessori and Freinet are all frequently employed in their teaching methods. Special emphasis is placed on the teaching of German, and, no less importantly, on English and Spanish. The children are taught and assessed according to a modified version of the Austrian national curriculum. The language of the classroom is German. The experience has shown that even beginner and false beginner language learners can learn the German language relatively quickly through targeted teaching. Austrian teachers or those trained in Austria assist them in their learning.
