Dramatically marking the return of a Jewish presence in Central Europe, the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation established the Lauder Javne Jewish Community School and Kindergarten. The school located in Budapest, Hungary, home to Central Europe’s largest Jewish Community, offers Jewish education and challenging academic programs close to 700 children in the following age groups: Kindergarten (3 – 6), Low School (grades One through Four), Middle School (grades Five through Eight), Upper School (grades Nine through Twelve). Beside the basic program of thr Low School students learn Hebrew, English and Jewish studies.
