Established in 1992, BESTSELLERS is a general English language retail bookshop in Budapest which also serves the professional and scholarly community in Hungary with academic titles which comprise about half our stock of over 10000 books. New and ordered books arrive every week from the UK and the USA. The store also deals in French books and acts as a newsagent with a wide selection of English and French language newspapers and magazines. Services include a standing order service.
Fair Trade and a Fair Deal: Dan's mission is to create both a high-quality source of English second-hand and remaindered books at a reasonable price, and be Hungary’s first showcase for Fair Trade organic coffee. The bookstore promotes environmental and social justice causes, in particular, organic and Fair Trade products. This is a local bookstore with a global conscience.
The store sells mostly reprints and facsimile versions of old books: literature, history, religion, corvina, artists' books, profession, pictures, maps, law books.

The assortment consists mainly of English, German, French, Latin and Hungarian antiquties, bibliophilies and scientific books. The collection of engravings is the largest and the most considerable one on the Hungarian market. The shop offers you more than 20.000 engravings, maps prior to 1870. The postcard colletcion is continuously groving, and its quality is constantly better. Among the clientile there are Hungarian collectors, celebrities, but the majority consists of foreigners working in Hungary, people accredited for foreign representation, or employees of different embassies and foreign collectors.
