Homepage of the State Motorway Management Co.Ltd. The Motorway companies’ task is the operation, maintenance and construction of the expressway network in Hungary. This is comprised of 650 kilometres of motorway, 205 kilometres of clearways and highways (which are comprised of highways serving as expressways, highways with expressway features later converted to expressways, and highway sections with expressway features) as well as 188 kilometres of junction point sections, 52 kilometres of roads leading to rest areas, and 106 rest areas. The use of 69.8% of the supervised roads is tied to a fee, while 30.8% can be used free of charge.
