Greater Grace International School (Budapest) is an English-speaking, international, private Preparatory -12 School presently represented by thirty nationalities and ten religions. The school was founded in 1991, for the purpose of educating the children of international missionaries in Hungary . It was not long before the international community in Budapest discovered the school, and by the end of 1992, GGIS has enrolled forty-five students. At this point only a few classrooms were rented in a Hungarian school. The following year saw a breakthrough in the growth of the school: the signing of a long-term rental contract for our current location and the decree from the Ministry of Education officially recognizing Greater Grace International School.
