Dunaferr is one of the most successfull sport clubs in Hungary, established in 1951. The owner is the local steel factory. Men Handball Team is prospering from1951. Since that time they are always playing in first or second division. In the last 10 years the team had the bigest successes. Every year it won a medal in the Hungarian championship. Furthermore the Team was Hungarian Champion is in 2000, Hungarian Cup winner in 2001, it reached 3rd place in European Super Cup and was Finalist in Cupwinners Cup.
