As part of HAWA (Horseback Archery World Association)representing the Kassai school The New Zealand School of Horseback Archery is poised to be the first in the Southern Hemisphere. The ground training, the archery and riding exercises used in the sport are the same as in other countries. The examination and competition rules (set by the Kassai system) are strictly followed all over the world. Beginners are welcome to join the archery training, but you must have suitable equipment (traditional bow and arrows). Limited number of bows are avalable for hire.
