The bakery has been in the bakery business since 1995, specializing in European and Hungarian style baking, producing gluten free baked goods including tortes muffins, cakes, birthday cakes, cookies, cheesecake and more either without any flour or with gluten free flour mix. (White rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch). Most of the tortes contains not a speck of flour, but, instead ground almonds, or walnuts, or hazelnuts. These tortes are made without any butter or oil but because the nuts have high natural oil content, they emerge from the oven eminently soft and moist. The bakery is located in Earlysville, VA, but it has a stand at the Charlottesville City Market too.
