Since its opening the Balaton Congress Centre and Theatre has been a theatre, a congress and meeting centre. The central unit of the two-storey building is the two-storey theatre and plenary conference hall with a maximum capacity of 505 people. The fully air-conditioned room is perfect for theatre events but it can host conferences and other large-scale programmes as well. József Simándy room has a capacity of 280 people, Lajos Básti and Pongrác Kacsóh section rooms can seat 60 and 80 guests respectively. Both rooms open into a common entrance hall, where a small buffet can be set up.
